Return to the 9-5 world…
Yeah, that’s right. I have returned to the world of 9-5, and back to the offices of Bimm Communications, though technically, I don’t work for Bimm this time around…
This time, I work for a small web design and development firm called E3 Consulting.
Originally, I was going to continue on the freelance path for a while longer, as things had been really picking up the past few months, especially with the Cleanfield Energy contract for Meteor Graphics. Though the pace was nightmarish, and there were things that simply made me want to tear my hair out, the pay off in the end was pretty damned good. But in the end, I really needed regular income, and the 9-5 option was the most obvious choice in helping put some stability in my life and financial situation. I simply wanted to be able to leave the office and once I’m out of the building, that was the end of work, and when I turn on the computer at home, it would just be for recreation and personal projects.
At least that’s the plan anyway.
Anyway… it’s Friday night. Time to head out for drinks.
